Episode 2 looks at the connected factors behind pet overpopulation in the Philippines, including limited access to spay and neuter services, unrestricted roaming, abandonment and neglect, accessible food waste, and changes in pet ownership after the pandemic. Pet overpopulation develops through repeated situations that can allow free-roaming populations to grow over time.

Episode 3 looks at the ecological side of pet overpopulation, including interactions between free-roaming animals and native wildlife, disruption of local food webs, waste, and the shared environments where domestic animals, wildlife, and people interact.
